FAQ's/HOW TO BUY
In these terms and conditions, the "Company" will mean Hijjaz Records Publishing, the “Site” will mean https://www.hijjazbooks.com and the "Customer" will mean any person, firm, company or body which places an order with the Company.
1. GET STARTED
- Please sign up as registered user first before purchase with https://www.hijjazbooks.com.
- No registration fees charges for sign up user.
- A valid user information such as name, address, phone number, email and credit card account is required
- The Site is available for online order only. Users are required to complete the transaction payment via online.
- Order could not be accepted through customer services, tele-marketers, email, fax and etc.
1.1REGISTRATION PROCESS
Step 1: On top left, under My Account, click Register and then click Continue under Register Account for New Customer
Step 2: Fill in Your Personal Details, Your Address and Your Password
Step 3: Check on “I have read and agree to the FAQ/ Privacy Policy”
Step 4: Click continue to complete the registration process
1.2PURCHASE PROCESS
Step 1: Click the product you are interested
Step 2: Click “Add to cart”. "Item already added to Shopping Cart" message indicates that the item has been successfully added to the shopping cart
Step 3: Click on “Shopping Cart” button to go to Shopping Cart Page
- Note 1: Click "Continue shopping" back to the homepage and continue shopping.
- Note 2: To remove a product, click “

- Note 3: If you have any (Promotion Code), please enter it in this field and click “Apply Coupon” to enjoy its offer

Step 5: You will receive a notification via email that your order is being process as quickly as possible.

1.4 HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

2. AVAILABILITY OF GOODS AND PRICES
2.1 HOW DO I KNOW THE STATUS OF GOODS AND PRICES?
- Price of products will be displayed on the information page
- In Stock products will be displayed on the information page as (In Stock).
- Out of Stock products will be displayed on the information page as (Out of Stock)
- Not available products will be displayed on the information page as (Not available, Out of Print, Unable to Sell)
- Pre-order product will be displayed on the information pages (Items will be processed once order has been placed, released and ready to ship)
* The final actual selling price of a pre-order or out of stock item may differ from its earlier pre-order price. The price will be based on the information displayed on the information page.
2.2 ARE THE SELLING PRICES BETWEEN HRP WEBSITE AND PHYSICAL STORE ARE THE SAME?
- The selling prices between the Site and our books at physical store might be different.
- The selling prices on the Site are valid for products purchased via the Site only.
3. PAYMENT METHODS
ORDER AND PAYMENT
3.1 HOW CAN I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
- User can check their order status or order history by accessing ‘Order History’ under My Account menu after login to user account.
3.2 WHY IS MY ORDER CANCELLED/REJECTED?
- Orders may be cancelled/rejected due to supplier out of stock, book out of print, or credit card transaction rejected. Any cancelled/rejected order, user will be notified via email or call from our Customer Service
3.3 CAN I BE REFUNDED FOR MY CANCELLED ITEM(S)/ORDER?
- You will be charged only when your order is complete and ready to be dispatched
3.4 HOW TO KNOW THAT I HAS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED MY ORDER?
- Upon order that has successfully completed, order number and notification of order successful will be displayed on the information page. User can review their order by accessing ‘Order History’.
3.5 WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT METHODS ACCEPTED?
- You can pay via credit cards, debit cards or online banking.
- If you receive a SMS from your credit card company, this only means that your issuing card has given verification to seller, but the amount is not debited yet.
- If you cannot find the related order in “Order History”, or items are still in shopping cart, this means that there are some reason causing the transaction failed. The Site will not debit money from the bank. You can redo the payment procedure for the item in shopping cart. This will not cost you double payment.
3.6 IS ANY BANK CREDIT CARD ACCEPTABLE?
- We now only accept VISA, MASTER and DEBIT card issued by Malaysian banks.
3.7 ONE TIME PASSWORD (OTP)
- OTP is a password that is valid for only one login session or transaction, on a computer system or other digital device. A password will be sent to the registered phone number of card holders. It is generated randomly. Hackers will not be able to abuse the password since it is unpredictable, not repetitive and only valid for a certain period. OTP can prevent users' passwords from being impersonated and avoid any inconvenience caused by lost passwords.
3.8 IF MY ORDER IS ALREADY COMPLETED, CAN I STILL CHANGE TO ANOTHER PAYMENT METHOD?
- Different payment method is processed by different system, therefore you cannot change the payment method directly. Instead, you can call our customer service to cancel the order, and then remake the order.
3.9 NOTE WHEN YOU PAY ONLINE VIA CREDIT CARD
- You will be charged only when your order is complete and the product(s) have ready stock.
4. DELIVERY METHODS
4.1 WHAT TYPE OF DELIVERY OPTION AVAILABLE?
- The Company use Pos Laju Malaysia as delivery method. We deliver throughout all of Malaysia.

* During Malaysia National Public holiday, Festival season, and any unforeseen natural disaster that is beyond control by our company and the courier company, delivery lead time might be extend accordingly.
4.3 CAN MY ORDER SHIP TO OTHER COUNTRIES?
- Sorry, the Company only deliver to Malaysia only.
4.4 HOW TO CHANGE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?
Step 1: On top left, under My Account, click My Account
Step 2: Click “Modify your address book entries” to go to your Address Book Entries
Step 3: Click “Edit” to edit your address, click “Remove” to remove your address and click “New Address” to add your new address.
4.5 WHAT IF I NOTICE I HAVE WRONGLY KEY IN MY DELIVERY ADDRESS AFTER COMPLETING MY ORDER?
- Please contact us via email as soon as possible within 5 hours. Shipping address will be change as per request, please be reminded shipping address could not be change after the parcel being shipped out.
4.6 HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
- Once the item is ship out, The Site will notify you by e-mail your order number, courier company information and courier tracking number.
- You can also go to [Order History] to check your order status. Or, you may contact our customer service hotline 603-77812102 to check with our staff.
5. RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS
5.1 CANCEL ORDER
An order cannot be cancelled once your credit card payment is verified and authorised. You cannot cancel your order after having read and accepted the Term & Conditions.
5.2 RULES OF RETURNS & REPLACEMENT
All items are non-returnable once sold. Unless it’s a damaged/missing pages/low-quality item, but need to be reported to customer service within 3 days after receiving. All retuned items must be in original condition. Contact our customer service hotline 603-77812102 or email to hijjazbooks@gmail.com.
5.3 IS THERE AN EXPIRY DATE TO RETURN OR REPLACE AN ITEM
- All defective items must be reported to customer service within 3 days by phone or email. Contact our customer service hotline 603-77812102 or email to hijjazbooks@gmail.com.
5.4 SITUATIONS WHERE AN ITEM CAN BE RETURNED OR REPLACED
• If the product is damaged at time of delivery.
• If the product has missing page or printing error at time of delivery; and you contact customer service within 3 days.
• If the product received is not what you ordered; and you contact customer service within 3 days.
5.5 SITUATIONS WHERE AN ITEM CANNOT BE RETURNED OR REPLACED
• If the product is damaged intentionally, books returned is used or broke.
• If the product is not returned in full set or missing accessory.
• If the product has an unclear dirt or mark on the item.
• If the product was purchased during clearance stock or non-exchangeable items.
• Fail to report to our customer service hotline within 3 days at time of delivery.
5.6 WILL I BE CHARGE FOR THE DELIVERY FEE OF A DEFECTIVE ITEM?
- No, the Company will pay the delivery fee of a defective item.
5.7 HOW TO RETURN DEFECTIVE ITEMS OF HRP PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM ONE OF THE STORES?
- All defective items of our products that has been purchased from the stores must be dealing with the store directly following their terms & conditions. The Site will only accept returns or replacements for products purchased via the Site.
5.8 HOW TO RETURN OR REPLACE DEFECTIVE ITEMS?
- Please call our customer service hotline 603-77812102 or email to hijjazbooks@gmail.com and give the reason for returning of replacing an item within 3 days after receiving the item.
- Customer will have to invest their money first on the delivery fee when returning the defective item back to the Company. The Company will pay back the delivery fee later when we deliver the new replaced item including the money for delivery fee that customer has invested.
- Item condition that meets our returns & replacement policy will be proceed for send out.
6. REWARD POINTS/COUPONS
6.1 HOW DOES REWARD POINTS WORKS
For each products bought from the Site, customer will gain reward points that later can be claimed as discount or special/occasional prizes. Prizes offers can be different from every promotion held. Customer are advice to check our ongoing promotion on regular basis to not missing out the special offer. Please note that reward points will be deduct from your total reward points.
6.2 HOW MANY REWARD POINTS DO I HAVE TO GAIN TO GET
SPECIAL PRIZES?
Customer need
to have enough reward points to claim discount or special/occasional prizes.
For
example, a collective of 300 reward point for a free book without using any money.
6.3 DOES REWARD POINTS HAS EXPIRED DATE?
Yes,
depending of the prizes and promotions offers.
6.4 CAN I CLAIM REWARD POINTS ON OTHER SITE OR PHYSICAL STORE?
No, the Site reward points only eligible to the Site only and cannot be claimed from other site nor physical store where Customer would buy the Company’s products.
6.5 HOW DO I CLAIM COUPONS?
To claim coupons/voucher customers need to be login first and then enter the code in the "use coupon code" at the checkout.
6.6 HOW MANY TIMES CAN I CLAIM COUPONS?
Each coupons can only be applied once. In any special occasion, there will be different coupons which customers can applied to get more discount.
